1. Concerts in 2008
Please make a note of the following dates - and make sure you don't plan anything else that will stop you singing in these concerts.

* Sat 17 May 2008 - a joint concert with Launceston Choral Society and Holsworthy Festival Chorus of Bach's B minor Mass - a great opportunity for a choir like ours to sing a big work.
* Sat 22 November 2008 - A lovely selection of music for to celebrate St Cecilia's Day

Two great concerts with a wide range of wonderful music. Good stuff for us to sing and music that we know our audience will like.

Christmas 2008. After the success of last year's Christmas Concert (with £500 going to Cornwall Air Ambulance) the Chairman is working hard to stage a Christmas Concert this year. Please let him know personally if you will support this initiative!

2. Rehearsal Dates
You already should have received a schedule of rehearsal dates from our Chairman - but in case you've mislaid it, look no further! Unless otherwise stated, rehearsals are in Flexbury Park Methodist Church at 7.30 pm on Wednesdays.

For the Bach B minor Mass
In Flexbury Pk Methodist Church on Wednesdays 26th March, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th April and 7th May
At Holsworthy Methodist Church on Thursdays 27th March, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th April and 1st and 8th May.
Pre-concert rehearsals in Central Methodist Church, Launceston on Thurs 15th May at 7.30 pm and 2.00pm on Concert day

For St Cecilia's Day concert
Usual rehearsals on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th September; 1st, 8th 15th, 22nd, 29th October; 5th and 12th November
Rehearsal in Bude Central Methodist Church on Wed 19th November - assemble at 7.15 pm
Pre-concert rehearsal in Central Methodist Church on Sat 22nd November - 2.00 pm.

3. Membership Secretary
As you know Rosie Beat is our 'shepherdess' - whose job it is to make sure that we look after all members. Please make sure she has up to date contact information about you, particularly a (reliable) e-mail address if possible.

To have a choir of about 50 for our last two concerts was wonderful - and it would be nice if we could increase this further - and finding new members younger than most of us would be a bonus! Please seek out potential new members wherever possible
