An
invitation from Bude Choral Society Why not join us? |

New singing members are always welcome, whatever voice part. If you enjoy singing - even if it's just Happy Birthday, Christmas Carols and joining in with Last Night of the proms - do give it a go! We're a small friendly choir and would like to get bigger. Age doesn't matter, though it would be good to have people who could help bring down the average age! No choral experience required - though we'd expect you to be able to sing in tune, and enjoy singing! You don't have to be able to sight read, as it's something you'll soon pick up. Subscriptions are in the region of £20 per term - but we have the discretion to modify fees for students and non-wage earners - so don't let the idea of cost put you off. Scores are made available without charge - all you need is a voice, an enjoyment of music - and a pencil for the notes you make during rehearsals! We rehearse on Wednesday evenings during school term time between September and March/April. We meet at Bude Community Infant School from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Just turn up - and you'll be welcomed; alternatively ring BCS Secretary Roger Blackwell on 01288 321130 or e-mail him at scantaboutblackbird@tiscali.co.uk |
